Making our PhaseSoft information system with AP soft was one of our best choices for our company. We are pleased to announce we successfully completed and implemented the ERP system for our long-standing customer, an international engineering company De Bondt. The business process management system provides (surprisingly) management of projects with a comprehensive overview of their state. There were 2 go-live modules within the first stage, the project management and human resources. We are both pleased and excited with customer being happy and intending to go for further extensions of the system, with the invoicing module being the nearest target. Stay tuned, more to come.
We are very much pleased to announce our 2020 robotics goal was reached and the 3D bin picking solution prototype for one of our key customers Vaillant Group is up and running. The Vision system recognizes randomly spread copper pipes in the basket, lets the UR10 COBOT know precise coordinates and arm just picks and moves pipes with no hesitation – please have a look. The customer is happily willing to bring this project into 2021 with a fresh goal to extend and polish the solution to be production ready. Stay tuned, more to come (yet) again 😉.

On July the 24th 2020, our APsoft team participated in the Small Dragon Boat Festival in Trencin. Though the festival was held for the fourth time, we had our premiere. And a quite successful to be honest. Our team, consisting of 10 paddlers and 1 drummer, full of enthusiasm and highly motivated, won the second and third place within the Companies category. The key to a successful ride is not only the physical strength of the individuals, but also other key contributors like team spirit and a crew collaboration. We were happy to ensure our teamwork being great no matter if in the office or on the river. Motivated by the fantastic performance and a cheerful atmosphere we all clearly agreed on "See you next year, Small Dragon Boat Festival!"

On March the 9th 2020, the Swiss Ambassador in Slovakia, Mr. Alexander Hoffet paid the visit to our company. We were pleased to had the opportunity to welcome Mr.Hoffet at our premises, as we have been proud and a long-term member and supporter of the Swiss-Slovak Chamber of Commerce. Mr. Hoffet appreciated our more than 20 years lasting partnerships with many well-known Swiss companies and the engagement in the development of trade relations between these two countries. The Ambassador left our HQ to meet the Mayor of the city of Trencin and other town representatives to discuss possible cooperation between the city of Trencin and The Swiss Embassy.
On November the 13th 2019, we participated in the conference Smart Industry: Practical Impact on Economy and Society within the Business Forum Switzerland Slovak Republic, held in Bratislava. The Business Forum was focused on the increasingly discussed topics - Industry 4.0 also known as Smart Manufacturing with an ultimate goal of Smart Factory. A couple of interesting presentations related to the theme were given. The second part of the conference was a panel discussion where a colleague of ours, Róbert Malina joined the group debate to share our experiences and contribute to the debate, specifically from the software-vendor-in-manufacturing point of view. While the Industry 4.0 was a topic “for the future” 10-15 years ago, participants underlined it is really here and now and the transformation process has been actively ongoing in many industries. It was a pleasant verification that we have been in the middle of this pivotal transformation process together with our customers.The event was organized by the Swiss-Slovak Chamber of Commerce of which we have been a member for many years. The partners were Bystronic Czech Republic s.r.o., KPMG in Slovakia and Revue priemyslu.
In June 2019, AP soft became the IT partner of the Swiss airline - Chair Airlines, offering flight connections for holidays and short city trips within Europe. The company has about 150 employees with headquarter at Zurich Airport. AP soft provides the company with services in data analysis and system integration area. We believe that this partnership is the right step for both parties. Also, we hope to meet the Chair Airlines´ expectations for a reliable and professionally strong IT partner.
After last year's success, we continue to support TEDx by a sponsorship of an inspirational conference – TEDxTrenčín 2019. It is the local level instance of the world-renowned conference TED - Technology, Entertainment, Design, originally taking place in the USA and creating a space for an inspiration of people of all ages. Former speakers included celebrities such as Bill Gates, co-founder of Microsoft, or the former British Prime Minister Gordon Brown. The conference takes place on September the 28th at the Piano Club Trenčín and hosts many influential people from Slovakia and abroad. AP soft is going to participate in this unique event. We are pleased to announce that first milestone of the flagship SAP integration project named AMS+ meets SAP was reached and integration module was successfully implemented within two of Vaillant Group manufacturing plants in Germany. Vaillant Group is a global market and technology leader in the fields of heating, ventilation and air-conditioning technology. AP soft as a proud supplier of core parts of the MES (Manufacturing Execution System) named AMS+ spent past 15 months on the development of the MES-SAP integration module. Integration automates and optimizes processes and degrades the human intervention within plant processes to a minimum. SAP-->MES data flow utilizes IDOCs (SAP intermediate document) format counting hundreds thousands of documents transferred during a single shift and BAPI interface for production confirmation back to SAP. For the project that is still in its early stages we look forward to multiple milestones in the pipeline in coming months, a deeper MES integration with SAP master data (Bill of Material, Routings or Product Hierarchy) and more manufacturing plants to be connected among the nearest ones.
